Who sent the mail threats to Okabe?
- Kiryuu Moeka sent the mail threats to Okabe under FB’s orders.
What meaning did the divergence numbers have in Feiris’s ending?
- They were sent to the Ω (omega) world line which the numbers could not be displayed on the divergence meter
- The Ω World line’s divergence number is -0.275349%. Since the meter could not display a negative number the numbers could not be displayed.
Why was SERN after the IBN5100?
- So that no one could access the data stored in Eshrons database which could only be decoded with the IBN5100.
Why did John Titor in 2010 post on a Japanese forum, and why did Titor from 2000 post in English?
- John Titor (Suzuha) did not know English because interaction with other countries had been cut off by SERN in the α world line.
- In order to find her father she needed to get used to life in 2010 Japan, so she started posting on a Japanese forum. In the β world line her father was still alive, and knew who he was so she had no reason to go to Japan.
- In the β world line Titor was a soldier of the United States Military.
In chapter 9, why did Nae disappear after she used the time machine at the lab?
- By time leaping, the past in that world line had changed so there was no longer a reason for her to use the time machine in the first place. Thus why she no longer appeared to be at the lab.
So why didn’t Okabe’s Reading Steiner trigger when she used the time machine?
- Time leaping isn’t enough to create a major divergence in the world line. Only major events would trigger the Reading Steiner.
Who wired the cables directly to SERN from the lab?
- SERN wired the cables (Official Source).
Why did SERN need a direct connection to the lab?
- Theory 1. SERN wired the cables for Mr Braun, so Braun could receive orders to tell his henchmen what to do. The communication between FB and SERN needed to be done through an extremely secure connection.
Backup points:
1)Mr Braun is the owner of the building
2)Mr Braun is a rounder
3)Mr Braun knew the henchmen were expendable. This could mean FB had a superior rank or had an important role in capturing lab members. He was able to get a direct connection as part of SERN’s support.
- Theory 2. SERN installed the cables so the time leap machine could be built. Since the time leap machine needs to send/receive large amounts of data in a short amount of time to/from SERN’s lab, they installed the cables so this could be made possible.
- Theory 3. Using time travel the SERN from the future ordered SERN in the past to install the cables to speed up the completion of the time leap machine (the time leap machine requires a fast connection). This would enable SERN to capture and develop time travel technology in a shorter amount of time in order to create a dystopia within 2 years.
How did Moeka become so dependent on her cellphone?
- Moeka was an introvert during her high school years. One day she received an e-mail from “FB”, who invited her to work as a Rounder. FB would only allow communication through e-mails, this lead her to use a cellphone to contact him/her. Her dependency grew later on as she began to grow deeper feelings for FB. Her cellphone being the only means to contact FB is extremely important to her, and she will use any means to keep it in her hands.
What was the reason for not putting in a Moeka route in the game?
- Originally the creators had a Moeka route in mind. In order for the player to feel closer to the protaginists Moeka was made to be a character the players would feel antagonism against. This lead the creators to drop the idea for a Moeka route, since having one would create sympathy for the rivals in the story.
