Mad Scientist (Again) Builds a Time Leap Machine Replica

A few days ago the Unofficial Steins;Gate wiki reported that someone made a Phone Microwave replica. This time another mad scientist has stepped up to create an important Steins;Gate prop, the Time Leap Machine.

The author of the time leap machine wishes to remain anonymous because an evil organization is after him.

Time Leap Machine from the Anime

The author did not have a X68000, or a Phone Microwave in hand, but he plans to build the head gear part of the Time Leap Machine. In the anime the head gear is used to read the memory pulses from the user. The data is then passed through the X68000, SERN’s collider then back into the microwave to send back in time.

Using  insulation or softboards he shapes the parts for the Time Leap Machine head gear.

After spray painting them they are attached with glue onto a pair of headphones. (Audio Technica ATH-AD300 Open-Air Dynamic Headphone ’s are used to make the replica)

 The finished product..

The detailed design makes for a great cosplay item.

Of course the time leap machine could not have been made without his Helper and a bottle of Dr Pepper.
