The Lab

The lab is located near Tokyo-to Chiyoda-ku KuramaeBashi Douri, Tsumakoi Intersection at a back alley, in a 40 year old eight story building (Oohiyama Building) on the 2nd floor.

By following Okabe’s directions in real life you will arrive at building called “Hikoyama Building” where on the first floor is a shop called the LCD Workshop. The building has a slightly different shape than the one seen in Steins;gate

Future Gadget Lab in game
This LCD Shop was used as a model for the Cathode Rade Tube Shop in the game/anime
A building near the LCD shop was merged to create the building that appeared in the game

Cafe in real life

The original is a cafe called Cafe:Mai:lish http://www.mailish.jp/

Next to Cafe Mai:lish is a Bianchi Bicycle Shop. Suzuha’s bicycle is a Bianchi.  The store was actually opened 2 month after the game was released. Coincidence?
